Ball Save ("we", "our", "the app") is a personal pinball score tracking app for iOS. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

On-device data — Ball Save stores all data locally on your device. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no cloud data sync. Data stored on-device includes:

• Display name and preferences (sort settings, selected locations, skill levels, recently searched cities)
• Pinball scores (machine name, score value, date/time, location identifier)

None of this data leaves your device. It is never uploaded to our servers or any third party.

Crash reports — In production, we collect anonymous crash and error data (device model, OS version, stack traces) via Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose issues. This data is not linked to your identity.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

• Device GPS location or geolocation data
• Advertising identifiers
• Analytics or behavioral tracking data
• Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data

3. How We Use Your Data

• Store and display your pinball scores
• Remember your app preferences
• Diagnose crashes and errors

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — Anonymous crash and error reporting. Data is stored in Google Cloud. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Pinball Map — We fetch public machine and location data. No user-identifying information is sent to Pinball Map. Pinball Map Privacy Policy
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim — We geocode city names to coordinates. No user-identifying information reaches Nominatim.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above as necessary to operate the app.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored on your device. Deleting the app removes all data. No server-side deletion is necessary.

7. Children's Privacy

Ball Save is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
